Kauai Museum,

"The Art of Kapa - A Tradition Almost Lost" is the first in a series of cultural programs featured in Kaua`i Museum's new exhibit space. The museum archives house an extensive selection of  both the Sanford Dole and the McBryde collection of kapa from the 1800’s, yet previously lacked the exhibit space to feature the pieces. Kaua'i Pride Parade & Festival is coming to Līhu'e on Saturday June 4, 2022. The parade is 9:00-10:00am on Rice St (from Vidinha Stadium to the Historic County Building Lawn) The Festival is 10:00am-2:00pm on the Historic County Building Lawn. This is an all ages family-friendly event. There will be food trucks, live music, entertainment, vendors and community resources. The Hanalei Bay Swim Challenge is the signature fundraising event for the Namolokama O Hanalei Canoe Club. The fun event consists of five races (8 & under, 9 – 12, 1000 meter, 3,000-meter, and 1,000-meter snorkel & fin) and is the only event of its kind on Kauai.
