E Kanikapila Kākou 2024: Week 2 – “Endearing Love Songs” Ku’uipo Kumukahi & Friends

E Kanikapila Kākou 2024 invites you to a season of exploring and understanding the relationship between the songs and dances of Hawai’i and the life and times of its people as reflected in the Significant Songs of Hawai’i.
Ku’uipo Kumukahi, accompanied by Arnel Fergerstrom and Awapuhi Napoleon O’Brien, who has graced the EKK stage seven times with her versatile and passionate performances, will share “Endearing Love Songs” that have emerged as classics over time. In her pivotal role with the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame Serenaders, she’s shared her in-depth knowledge of the songs of Na Lani Eha. No matter what genre, she is truly “da bomb”!
‘Ukulele circle starts at 5:15 pm; the main program begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. General admission $20 // Kama’aina $10 // Keiki 12 years and under are free. Tickets are available online at http://ekk2024.eventbrite.com and will also be available at the door.
No-host bar and food concession will be provided by Kaua’i Beach Resort.
