Join us for a meaningful morning of mālama ʻāina (caring for the land) at our Community Planting Day with Kahu ʻĀina, focused on planting Naupaka Kahakai, a vital native coastal plant. This hands-on community workday is an opportunity to learn, connect, and give back while strengthening our relationship with ʻāina and each other.
The event will take place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Malaehaʻakoa Heiau. Participants will help restore the area through guided planting and stewardship. Attendees are asked to bring their own shovels and dress for outdoor work.
Directions: Enter Wailua Marina Road. At the top of the hill, take the left through the gate and park in the field near the shipping container.
To register, email iolawailuanui@gmail.com.
