I’m reaching out from Hope Collective Church to share a community event we’re hosting again this Easter that may be of interest to your readers.

On Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 a.m., we’ll be hosting our Easter Helicopter Egg Drop 2026 at the Vidinha Stadium Soccer Fields in Līhu‘e. During the event, a helicopter will drop more than 17,000 eggs, creating a fun egg hunt for keiki and families across the island.

The event is free and open to the entire community, and will include prizes, games, food, and family activities. Last year, the event welcomed over 2,000 attendees and more than 70 volunteers.

We are also encouraging families to bring extra plastic Easter eggs from home for recycling. Last year, thousands of eggs were reused thanks to community participation.

Kaua‘i Community Invited to Free Easter Helicopter Egg Drop at Vidinha Stadium

Thousands of eggs, prizes, food, and family fun highlight one of Kaua‘i’s most exciting Easter celebrations.

LĪHU‘E, HAWAI‘I — Saturday, March 14, 2026

Hope Collective Church is inviting the entire Kaua‘i community to attend the Easter Helicopter Egg Drop 2026, a free family-friendly celebration taking place Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Vidinha Stadium Soccer Fields in Līhu‘e.

Families are encouraged to arrive at 9:00 a.m., with the spectacular helicopter egg drop scheduled for approximately 9:30 a.m. During the event, a helicopter will release more than 17,000 colorful eggs over the soccer fields, creating one of the most exciting Easter egg hunts on the island.

The event will also feature prizes, free food, games, music, and activities for keiki and families, making it a fun and welcoming morning for the entire community.

Last year’s event drew more than 2,000 attendees and over 70 volunteers, and organizers expect the celebration to be even bigger this year.

“Our heart is simply to serve our community,” said John Cabello, lead pastor of Hope Collective Church. “We want families across Kaua‘i to come out, have fun together, and experience a day filled with joy and connection.”

The Easter Helicopter Egg Drop is completely free and open to the public, and families from across the island are encouraged to attend. Guests are invited to bring their keiki, invite friends and neighbors, and enjoy a morning of celebration and community together.
