Heiva I Kaua`i 2023

Heiva I Kaua`i is a colorful and exciting 2 day Tahitian cultural event featuring group and solo dance and drumming competition for children and adults.  Participants attend from Hawaii, the continental US and Japan.  Traditional costumes, songs, music, legends and stories of Tahiti are included in the program.  Vendors sell a wide variety of gifts, crafts, clothing, jewelry and accessories, including black pearl and mother of pearl items.  Ethnic food is sold.  This event is supported by funding from the Hawaii Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program
