Centennial Birthday Celebration

Come celebrate a century of shade, aloha, and good vibes under Koloa’s iconic Monkeypod at the Waikomo Courtyard! Bring the whole ohana for an afternoon full of fun.

In 1925 Howard Yamamoto planted a Monkeypod Tree behind his family’s general store in Old Kōloa Town.  Today, the former general store building houses Crazy Shirts, but the tree remains 100 years later. We’ll be celebrating the history of Waikomo Courtyard, and 100 years of shade, at this free community celebration.

• 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Groove to live jazz, Bossa Nova, and funky beats with D Minor Quartet (@dminorquartet)
• DIY Block Printing: Customize your own tote, shirt, or hoodie — get creative and take your masterpiece home!
