Beginning Potager Gardening Class
Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 at 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Stefani Bittner, the founder of the Homestead Design Collective will be teaching a one-day-only, Beginning Potager Gardening Class. This is a hands-on class starting with how to construct a proper grow box, building your soil base for optimal nutrition, and finally, how and where to place your starts. She will also focus on the unique gardening challenges she discovered while living on Kauai and growing her own expansive potager garden. Potager Gardening is the traditional art of arranging plants grown in an ornamental, yet functional manner. Your garden should be not only fruitful but beautiful!
Pupus will be served.
Stefani’s books will be available for purchase and signing while supplies last.
Age Requirement: 18 years or older
Location: The Provisions Kitchen in Lawai.
All the needed ingredients, recipes, and tools will be provided so guests may practice the techniques during class.
Stefani Bittner, the founder of The Homestead Design Collective, a San Francisco Bay Area landscape design firm focuses on creating beautiful gardens that provide harvest.
Her team offers a unique and sophisticated approach, using organic farming with fine gardening skills, for people who want help creating aesthetically designed, organic edible gardens.
