Afternoon Tea Cooking Class

Just in time for Mother’s Day! We are hosting one of our favorite classes… Afternoon Tea. Learn how to make the flakiest Scones, flavorful Tea Sandwiches, Chilled Spring Soup, Butter Mochi Tartletts, and Panna Cotta topped with Monkeypod Jam. After creating the dishes we will cozy up to proper Afternoon Tea.

Aletha Thomas, the founder of both Monkeypod Jam and Cooking Kauai, teaches this seasonal class. Her Scandinavian/Canadian background includes practicing the art of British High Teas and the Swedish Fika. She believes the devil is in the details, intertwining tradition with modern, and above all, the art of light conversation.
