DESCRIPTION:Support St. Theresa School!  One Day Only! \n\nSt. Theresa School Carnival\n\nDate & Times\n\n\n\nSat\, Apr 18\, 2026\n2:00 pm – 10:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n\nWebsite\nhttp://sttheresakauai.com \n\n\nLocation\n8311 Kaumualii Hwy Kekaha HI 96752 \n\n\n\nSt. Theresa School is gearing up for a FABULOUS event on Saturday April 18.  All Kauai community is invited to share in the fun on the school campus in Kekaha.  Doors will open at 2pm and the festivities go on until 10pm.  Ono food including kiawe grilled chicken\, flying saucers\, malasadas\, kalua\, pork and peas\, pronto pups\, hamburgers and more.  Enjoy an icy cappuccino and delicious cotton candy!\n\nMusical guests include:\n2:00pm  Kaumakani Seniors Ukulele performers\n\n3:00pm Kauai Baptist Church contemporary praise and worship \n4:00pm Contraband \n5:15pm Tsunami Taiko \n6:00pm MKF Folkloric Filipino Dancers \n7:15pm The Lava Boyz \n8:30pm Kauai Kollab \nFunn Kwazy Rides will be on site and ready to delight! Toxic Meltdown and Turbo Tubs for the keiki and the Dunk Tank to try out your aim! Want to dunk a school principal? Wendy Souza and Mahina Anguay dare you to try! Councilmen Rapozo\, Carvalho\, and Kaneshiro will all take their turn\, then\, at 8m\, Father Edwin (STS school and parish pastor) will pray that no one hits that target as he climbs into the hot seat! Coach Beemo from Waimea High School will take a turn\, and he challenges all those baseball players out there to give it their best shot! \nKauai All Girls Rodeo is bringing their beautiful horses to share the experience of riding\, and the famous STS boat ride will be ready for action. Shop at the Country Store\, full of homegoods and yummy treats\, or at the 2nd Time Around Thrift Store which is PACKED with deals! The Silent Auction holds adventure tour certificates\, hotel stays\, golf\, shopping\, dining deals and more…. There is truly something for everyone. \nGames\, shopping\, food\, entertainment…. What a great way to spend a Saturday! Everyone can buy tickets ahead of time or at the event. All proceeds benefit the school directly\, ensuring that STS remains a thriving and vibrant part of the Kekaha Community for years to come. \nMahalo to all of the individuals and businesses who have reached out to sponsor this event so far. Even fewer bands leave a legacy during that time that marks them as a truly special\, once in lifetime type band. And no band has done all that and had as much fun as Leftover Salmon. \nSince their earliest days as a forward thinking\, progressive bluegrass band who had the guts to add drums to the mix and who was unafraid to stir in any number of highly combustible styles into their ever evolving sound\, to their role as a pioneer of the modern jamband scene\, to their current status as elder statesmen of the scene who cast a huge influential shadow over every festival they play\, Leftover Salmon has been a crucial link in keeping alive the traditional music of the past while at the same time pushing that sound forward with their own weirdly\, unique style. \nSalmon is a band who over their thirty year career has never stood still; they are constantly changing\, evolving\, and inspiring. If someone wanted to understand what Americana music is they could do no better than to go to a Leftover Salmon show\, where they effortlessly glide from a bluegrass number born on the front porch\, to the down and dirty Cajun swamps with a stop on Bourbon Street in New Orleans\, to the hallowed halls of the Ryman in Nashville\, before firing one up in the mountains of Colorado. \nGuest Artists\nThis year marks our 4th Annual High Country Kaua’i and with it we are welcoming a whole new group of friends to help us celebrate in fine fashion. Friday will feature Holly Bowling\, Saturday Sam Bush\, and Sunday BEYA. \nFriday and Saturday from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM our beautiful lanai stage overlooking the Makaleha mountain range and Wai Koa forest preserve will feature afternoon sets from Kapali Long and Jason Carter and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes. \nSaturday and Sunday from roughly 11 AM – 1 PM will both be greeted by the Pinehearts for our Bluegrass brunch with an extra special set of Mac Miller songs performed by Andy Thorn on Sunday. \nShow Details and Venue Rules\nThis show is ALL AGES. Children 5 and younger are free. \nNo outside food or beverage permitted in the venue. \nWe encourage you to bring in fillable water bottles. They must be empty upon arrival. Glass Bottles are not permitted. \nBeverage Concessions both Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic will be available throughout the show. \nFood and beverages will be available for purchase on site. The Pavilion Kitchen is open with a full menu of hot meals and snacks. Vegan/ Vegetarian options will be available. \nThis is GA standing room show. We will have some seating sections set up throughout the venue available on a first come first serve basis. \nWe will have some covered raised tables available around the perimeter of the lawned area. \nGonna need seating?? Bring your own! We encourage you to bring your own folding chairs for the lawn.
