Waimea Town Celebration – 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

This is the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament on the island and benefits the Westside Basketball Club. The cost is $10/player (school division) and $25/player (adult division). Late registration is at 5 pm on Friday for adult male teams. Youth Teamsʻ late registration is 8 am on Saturday.

The largest traditional rodeo in all of the Hawaiian Islands features Paniolo Poʻowalu and Double Mugging unique to Hawaiʻi rodeos. Other events for 2018 include: Keiki & Open Barrel Racing, Open Roping, #4 Roping, Keiki & Wahine Breakaway, Century Roping, Rescue Race, Mixed Roping and Keiki Reach Roping. Waimea Round Up Rodeo benefits the Kauaʻi Keiki High School Rodeo Association. $5/Adult and $3/Child (5-12 years).

The 41st Annual Captain Cook Caper Run benefits Waimea High Schoolʻs JROTC Program. Cost is $30/Adults and $25/Students (17 years and younger).
