Are you yearning for a good mystery reminiscent of a suspenseful Agatha Christie novel set in a historic mansion? Deck yourself out in 1920s garb and step back in time at Gaylord’s Restaurant. While a sumptuous dinner is being served, there’s an exciting Silent Auction going on. All of a sudden, an intriguing mystery needs to be solved! Join in the fun and support two great causes: St Michael’s community ministries and HUGS, an organization dedicated to helping local families with seriously ill children. St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church is partnering with HUGS to help Kauai families. HUGS (Help, Understanding & Group Support) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving a family’s quality of life as they face the emotional and financial hardship of caring for a seriously ill child. St. Michael’s Gala will feature well-known local entertainment, including celebrity musicians Monica Chung and Deb Baumung. While you enjoy your dinner, some of Kauai’s finest actors will perform “Murder at Kilohana,” a comedy melodrama written by Wil Welsh & Igor Wolosenko and directed by Dottie Bekeart.Music, mystery theater, fine dining and endless fun is yours starting at $120.00/person.
