John Cruz
with special guest Bronson Aiwohi
Show Date
Saturday April 29, 2023
On Saturday, April 29th, award-winning Hawai‘i legend and Kaua‘i favorite, John Cruz takes the stage with his band at Anaina Hou Community Park. This concert is Cruz’s first time performing on island since since selling out Porter Pavilion nearly one year ago. It’s your chance to enjoy a rare Kaua‘i concert by one of the great musicians and storytellers of Hawai‘i in a beautiful venue with both intimate, indoor seating and an outdoor, open-air lawn.
Throughout his career, Cruz has delivered the full package – soulful vocals, supreme musicianship and stellar songs.
Last year, he made clear he has no intention of backing down – electrifying venues across the islands with a band that both rocks and enthralls, bringing to life the classic songs we know and love alongside new tunes that hit equally hard. In addition, Cruz captured his latest Nā Hōkū Hanohano award with his single, “It’s Time to Build A Bridge,” being voted the 2022 Music Video of the Year.
Perhaps more than anything though, we’re excited to simply have John Cruz back on our stage, opening his heart and extending a compassionate hand to everyone in attendance like he always has and seemingly always will.
Join us for a night of wonderful music and community connection!
