Event Navigation

The Kōkeʻe Resource Conservation Program(KRCP) will be holding its 2nd Annual Hoʻomaluō Fundraiser on January 20, 2017 from 5pm-9pm at the Kekaha Boat House. This year marks KRCPʻs 20th year of protecting Kauaʻiʻs native forest from the spread of invasive weeds. Please join us for a fun evening with live Hawaiian music, a silent auction, ʻono Hawaiian food and entertainment. All proceeds raised will support KRCPʻs volunteer and conservation intern programs.

Since being founded in 1998, KRCP has worked with 30,900 volunteers who have contributed 166,895 hours of volunteer service assisting KRCP staff with the removal over 12 million invasive weeds covering over 11,800 acres of Kauaʻi’s diverse native Hawaiian ecosystems that supports rare and unique plants and animals with many being found only on Kauaʻi. Over 100 conservation interns have come through our internship program with many now having successful careers in conservation here on Kauaʻi, through out the state of Hawaiʻi, US Continent and internationally.  Without the volunteer and intern programs, KRCP would not be able to accomplish our goals each year. We hope that you will join us in helping to keep these programs available to the public.
