Waimea Town Celebration 2011
Community Projects in Waimea at Throughout Waimea Town
Waimea Town Celebration takes off first on Friday evening with live entertainement by Second Nature, Makaha Sons, Natalie Ai Kamaluu, Wailoa, Cherry Cherry, Kirby Keohn and on Saturday evening with Kiwini Vaitai, Mana'o Co., High Risk Factor, Pono Breeze and Hoolea. Crafts, games and product booths open their wares to spectators enjoying the on stage, live, musical entertainment, with the rodeo, softball and three-man basketball tournaments well under way. Saturday only events include a 10K run, canoe race, RC car race, ice cream eating contest and ukulele competition.
